Summer 2016: DESIGN Dimensions

New for 2016! The College of Design at Iowa State University is pleased to offer a six-day, five-night summer camp to high school students, Design Dimensions, July 10-15, 2016. Day camp July 11-15 9am-4pm option also available.

Design Dimensions will focus on 2D, 3D, and 4D thinking across disciplines while providing hand-on experience with the latest design technology. Discover how to create and manipulate structures and objects, 3D print your designs, develop your own typeface, redesign your home town, and so much more. 

  • Appropriate for students interested in all disciplines offered by the College of Design: architecture, studio/fine arts, community and regional planning, graphic design, interior design, industrial design, and landscape architecture.
  • For students entering 9th through 12th grades and 2016 high school graduates
  • Spend nights at the 4-H Center camp site in Madrid, Iowa with access to traditional camp activities include rock wall, ropes courses, and trails.
  • Spend your days at the College of Design. We'll provide the transportation, meals, lodging and programming!
  • Opportunities available for Science Bound students

Camp Fees

  • Traditional 5 night camp July 10-15: $475
  • July 11-15 9am-4pm day camp: $225

Scholarships and discounts for the traditional overnight camp available.
