Extension Interior Design Specialist Lois Warme and a student assisted the city of Roland with plans to transform a vacant grocery store into a busy community center.

Landscape Architecture students held a community meeting and designed a park at the site of a former salvage yard in Hamlin.

Onawa Main Street Redesign Concept

Graduate student Clint Sloss researched concepts for traffic realignments and developed a conceptual plan for incorporating rain gardens for America's Widest Main Street in the City of Onawa.

Collins Maxwell Planning

Planning students researched interactions of the Cities of Collins and Maxwell and the Collins-Maxwell school district.  A comprehensive plan was created for use by all three parties.  This was a unique cooperation between cities and a school district.
