Ways to Give
There are many ways to support the ISU College of Design financially, and most provide tax advantages. Gifts may be unrestricted, with flexibility to support our most immediate needs, or they may be directed to meet an identified priority.
An outright gift is just as its name implies: a gift transferred immediately from you to benefit the ISU College of Design or one of our programs. This includes cash, pledges, securities, gifts-in-kind, real estate, and matching gifts.
Deferred giving enables you to arrange charitable contributions in a manner that maximizes your personal objectives and financial goals. Many plans provide flexibility during your lifetime, even though the College of Design will not realize the benefit until sometime in the future. The most common types of deferred plans are bequests, retirement plan designations, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable gift annuities.
To learn more about any of these types of gifts, go to the How to Give section of the Iowa State University Foundation website, or contact Jenni Cushman, College of Design development director, (515) 294-6984. If you're ready to make a gift now, you can do so easily online. Thank you!
